Bristol buildings _a view to Totterdown

This print is a limited edition first press release from my oil painting original.

The scene is the view to Totterdown from Victoria Park in Bristol. The iconic colourful houses of Bristol peer above the trees of the park, alongside the Bristol Jamia Mosque: the oldest mosque in Bristol and the biggest in the South West of England. I wanted to produce this painting to celebrate the multicultural fabric of Bristol. These ‘Bristol buildings’ demonstrate the culturally rich architecture and community in Bristol.

The oil painting was produced using a palette knife for the foreground, to create the definition of the trees and greenery of the park. The paint is layered and textural; built up over a period of two months. These prints are produced on archival hammered paper to still capture the definition of the oil paint.

They are individually hand-finished and signed.
